Mission Statement

To provide a professional photography service in a cost effective manner, yet flexible to accomodate all budgets.

A wedding photography style customized to match your taste and imagination - classic wedding, photojournalism, candids, in a relaxed and fun atmosphere that allows you to enjoy your special day.

To provide you with an increased number of proofs and prints as part of the basic package that you can share with your friends and family.

Packages Description

All wedding packages include proof album to hold all photos. Proof photos are un-marked 4x6 triplicates (3 photos for each proof). Triplicates are intended to help you assemble two albums with 4x6 photos for parents or send wedding photos to your friends and/or family members immediately without the need (and expense) to re-order other prints.

The wedding package calculator is a tool designed to provide you with maximum flexibility in selecting the wedding package that fits your needs and budget. Althrough you can order additional re-prints outside of any chosen wedding package, it is a good practice to design a package that fits your budget from the start, thus giving you a better control over your photography expenses. Wedding package prices and re-prints prices are subject to change without notice. The only valid prices are the prices at the time an order is placed. Thus by ordering a wedding package that fits your needs you are guaranteed the price at the time of order.

The number of proofs depends on the number of locations selected in the wedding package. In principle if a shot needs to be taken, it will be done. Most people are reasonable and althrough the number of shots is not unlimited, you will never miss a must take shot just because a certain pre-imposed limit is reached. The approximative number of proofs is indicated by the wedding package calculator.

There are two services that you can request and use to your advantage. First is the ability to have all wedding shots scanned on CD-ROM. Each proof is scanned in high resolution TIFF format and low resolution JPEG. This is a useful service if you plan to post your wedding pictures on the web or modify them on your desktop.

The second service provides you with all your wedding negatives. This is a rare privilege as most photographers are reluctant to give away the negatives. LifeCo gives you the opportunity to own your negatives and use them over the years to print high quality pictures straight from the originals. It is recommended that you still order prints even if you plan to get your negatives. LifeCo prints are done in a professional environment by skilled technicians. Unless you have the expertise, it is advisable to order a set of prints, at least to compare with other prints you get youself. If you request your negatives you are responsible for them. LifeCo maintains no other copies.

Wedding albums are sold separately to allow you maximum flexibility in choosing the right album style, size and number of pages. Together we'll design the bridal album and parents album to suite your budget, taste and needs. At our first meeting you'll see samples of complete albums. Althrough we encourage you to include an album for your enlargements as part of your booking, you may purchase albums at any time. Wedding album description is available below and pricing information is available on user services page.

This section is intended to guide you on how to decide to book your wedding with LifeCo Photography.

  1. Read the information available on this page and consider what it is offered as part of the basic package: increased number of proofs and three copies of each proof in a proof album.

  2. Use wedding package calculator to check package prices for different locations and album combinations. Consider the services offered to have all the wedding photos scanned on CD-ROM and even the option to get all your wedding negatives.

  3. Browse the photo gallery to see pictures from other weddings. The style of wedding pictures that you are going to have might vary to accomodate your taste, preference and imagination. LifeCo Photography works with you to suite the picture style to what you like. This is the common denominator of all the pictures that you see in the gallery. Fun, relaxed atmosphere where the newly weds are comfortable with the picture taking and participate actively in the process.

  4. Compare prices (for the same offering, remember that you will get three prints times the number of proofs), compare photography style and most importantly make sure that you can communicate and have a good synergy with your photographer and she/he can deliver what you really want for your wedding day.

  5. The web site offers you information up to the last point above. To make sure that there is communication and synergy between you and the photographer we recommend that you take an appointment about. This is also a good opportunity to see different wedding pictures and other picture sizes in an album. The quality of direct prints is superior to the web pictures.

  6. When you are ready to make a decision to book your wedding, use wedding package calculator to book your prefered package and the wedding date. The wedding date is booked when the fist initial down payment is received, see Payment Information. In general, there should be not problem, but in cases of conflict, specially for high season week-ends, this is the rule to decide which wedding is booked first.

Preparation for Wedding Day

This section deals mostly with the steps that are recommended after a wedding package is booked with LifeCo Photography.

Inform us when and where is your wedding ceremony rehearsal. We will be there to meet the soon-to-be bride and groom, hopefully the second time now, the family and the wedding party. Most importantly this is the time to determine the details of what type of shots you want, what you like and dislike. If time permits, we should visit the portraits location and explore the site and talk about your preferences. This is all optional, however this is how we delivered pictures in tune to what people really wanted from their special wedding day.

It is our recommendation that a list is prepared in advance of all family members combinations that you want as part of the group shots. It is very hard and time expensive to come up with the list on location. Also having a list in advance ensure that all the desired combinations are covered. During the wedding day leave this list with a person that is familiar with most of the people on the list. Indicate the name of the person to the photographer during the rehearsal day. This person is charge to gather the groups together before each group shot.

Payment Information

The wedding package total is payed in three equal installments. First installment is at the time of booking the wedding. This payment guarantees your wedding date. Only when this payment is received, your wedding date is reserved. This amount is non-refundable. Changes to the wedding package are allowed after a wedding package is booked, if the amount is equal or higher then the initial amount. If changes are made to the initial wedding package, only the prices in effect at the time of change are considered valid.

The second installment is required four weeks prior to the wedding date. This amount is non-refundable. If changes from the initial wedding package were made, this payment is adjusted to represent two thirds (2/3) of the newly adjusted wedding package total. Failure to make the second payment is considered breach of contract and consequently LifeCo Photography is absolved of any contractual obligations.

The third installment is required at the time the proofs are delivered. The proofs are delivered between five and ten business days after the wedding date.
